DeepWork
What is DeepWork?
DeepWork is an operational productivity company based in Buenos Aires. We analyze how work really gets done, in physical operations and in administrative, sales and professional teams, to find where capacity is lost: waiting, walking, meetings, rework and manual tasks. Then we help eliminate, simplify or automate that work. Sometimes the answer is technology, and sometimes it isn't.
Does DeepWork build software?
It isn't our main product. First we analyze the work, then we look for the best solution: sometimes that means eliminating a task or changing a process, and sometimes it's technology. When it is, it might be a tool you already use, an integration, AI or, if it's truly justified, custom development.
How does the diagnostic work?
It's the starting point. We observe how the work gets done, understand why it works that way, quantify where time and capacity go when there is evidence, prioritize what is worth changing first and deliver an order of action for working with less friction.
Does the diagnostic evaluate people?
No. DeepWork analyzes the system of work, not just the people. Often the problem lies in how meetings, channels, processes and tools were organized around the team.
Where does artificial intelligence come in?
After the analysis. First we decide which work is worth keeping; only then do we look at where technology or AI really adds capacity. Automating an unnecessary process only lets you do faster something that maybe shouldn't be done at all.
How do I get started?
Request a diagnostic from the contact page. Tell us how your team works and what concerns you, and we'll get back to you to set up a first conversation.
How much does it cost to work with DeepWork?
It depends on the scope: the team or process to analyze, the information available and what needs to change. That's why we don't publish prices: the scope and proposal are defined after a first conversation.
Where is DeepWork based?
We are at Tte. Gral. Juan D. Perón 1230, PB, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. We work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 7 PM.
Do you have live chat?
No. The site assistant answers general questions about DeepWork and, if you want to talk to the team, shows you a form. We reply to every message by email within 24 to 48 business hours.
Diagnostic
What is the DeepWork diagnostic?
It is an analysis of how a team, department or process really works. We identify unnecessary tasks, rework, interruptions, meetings, waiting time and manual load, estimate potentially recoverable capacity when there is enough evidence, and deliver an order of action: what to eliminate, simplify or automate and which human work to protect.
Do you need to install monitoring software?
No. We don't install monitoring software as a requirement. Depending on the process and the information available, we combine interviews, process reviews, observation of the work and, when relevant, information from systems, documents or calendars.
Does the diagnostic evaluate each person's performance?
No. We don't measure how much a person works: we analyze how much work the organization really needs and where capacity is used up unnecessarily. It isn't an individual performance review.
How long does the diagnostic take?
It depends on the team or process to be analyzed and the scope needed to get useful evidence. We define it together before we start.
Do I have to hire you for the implementation afterwards?
No. With the diagnostic, you can make the changes with your own team, with your current providers or keep working with DeepWork.
Redesign and optimization
What is Work Redesign and Optimization?
It is the intervention that fixes what uses up capacity in a team or process. We remove unnecessary tasks and steps, simplify processes and approvals, streamline coordination and how information flows and, when it really makes sense, add technology. Then we compare with the starting point to see whether the way of working changed.
Do I need the diagnostic first?
Not always. The redesign can start from an operational problem you've already identified. If the cause isn't clear yet, we recommend starting with the DeepWork diagnostic.
Does it always end in software or automation?
No. Often the solution is an operational change: removing steps, adjusting an approval or dropping a meeting. Other times it is enough to make better use of an existing tool. Automation or development come in when they deliver a justifiable improvement.
Does recovering capacity mean cutting staff?
Not necessarily. Recovered capacity can be used to serve more customers, sell more, respond faster, absorb growth, reduce overtime or spend time on higher-value work. How to use it is each company’s decision.
How do you know it worked?
We compare how things work afterwards with the starting point: time, steps, interactions, waiting time and rework. For us, an implemented recommendation isn't a result yet: the result is that the way of working has changed.
Will you organize our folders or our Drive?
It isn't about tidying folders, it's about reducing the friction of working with disorganized information. Scattered information → searching → questions → interruptions → duplication → rework → lost capacity. We look at how information is created, stored, shared and found, and redesign access whatever the tool: Drive, SharePoint, Dropbox or network folders.
Automation and AI
What kind of tasks does DeepWork automate?
Repetitive, predictable, low-human-value work: data entry and transfer, recurring documents and reports, repetitive questions, follow-ups, request classification, integrations between tools and AI-assisted analysis. Before automating, we check whether the task should exist or whether it can be simplified.
When don't you recommend automating?
When the task shouldn't exist, when it can be simplified first, when it varies too much to be described with clear rules, when the risk of an error is high or when the investment isn't justified by the capacity it would recover.
How do you know an automation was worth it?
Before implementing, we measure the starting point (hours, manual interventions, errors, times) and then we measure again. The question isn't whether the automation works, but whether the way of working improved.
We're about to buy a tool. Can you help us decide?
Yes. We can analyze the work that tool is supposed to handle and check whether it really does, whether the process should be simplified first or whether there is a simpler alternative.
How we work
How do you decide what to eliminate, simplify or automate?
First we observe how the work happens and understand why it works that way. When there is evidence, we quantify the friction and prioritize by impact, frequency, reach, complexity, risk and investment. Only then do we apply the framework: Eliminate, Simplify, Automate and Focus, in that order.
Do you always apply all four stages?
No. The framework is an order of decision: one activity may be eliminated outright, another only needs simplifying and another is worth automating. What doesn't change is the order of the questions.
Is everything measured in hours or money?
No. We quantify only when there is a reasonable basis for it. Some friction is better described in steps, waiting time, errors or dependencies, and we don't use universal productivity percentages.
Do you follow a standard methodology?
We combine well-known work analysis techniques, such as interviews, observation, process mapping and time measurement, depending on the question we need to answer. We don't apply a recipe: two companies with the same symptom may need different solutions.
Do you evaluate each person's performance?
No. We look for problems in processes, information, tools, coordination, decisions and how work is distributed. The goal is to improve the system of work, not to rank employees.
Where we work
What kind of companies does DeepWork work with?
Physical, administrative, sales and professional operations: retail chains, restaurants and hotels, logistics and distribution, service companies, sales teams and back-office departments. Whether we can help doesn't depend on the industry, but on there being work that could be done in a simpler way.
My industry isn't on the list. Can you still help?
Probably. The industries are examples: what we analyze are types of work. Tell us how your team works and we'll tell you honestly whether DeepWork can help.
Can you analyze several departments or locations at once?
Yes. Capacity is often lost between areas: a store waiting on admin, a warehouse that depends on another system. That is why we can look at the full path, not just one area.
Is every wait or check a waste?
No. A wait can be part of the process, a check can reduce a risk and a review can protect quality. We tell that work apart from work that only exists because of complexity or habit.
Contact
When do you reply?
Within 24 to 48 business hours. We work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 7 PM (Argentina time). We don't have live chat: the site assistant answers general questions and the team replies to every message by email.
What should I tell you?
How your team works, what concerns you and where you feel time is lost: meetings, waiting, manual tasks, spreadsheets, questions or anything else. You don't need to know which service you need.
Do I need to know which service to hire?
No. If it isn't clear, choose "I'm not sure yet" in the form. That is exactly what the first conversation is for.
What do you do with my data?
We only use it to reply to your inquiry, as explained in the Privacy policy. We don't sell it or use it for other purposes.
